Ian McCarthy
Kevin Donovan – Kevin is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the
Institute of Directors and spent three years of his professional career workingin the United States. Kevin has transacted in excess of US$ 700 million worth
of aircraft financing for a company in which he was a shareholder and director.
Kevin was a Partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants in Dublin and in recent
years has been engaged in property investment, raising and investing over
€85 million equity for property investments, located in Berlin and Boston.
Kevin now believes the Dublin residential property market is again offering
value. Kevin acts as an advisor to several active trading companies in Ireland
and manages a Berlin property portfolio of approximately €65 million.
Surveyors Ireland (member since 1987). Ian has worked in the property industry
in London and Ireland for over 25 years. 22 of those years have been with The
Sherry FitzGerald Group, Ireland’s largest property advisory group, working
in all aspects of the Irish property market, both residential and commercial
sales, valuation, project appraisal, acquisition, letting and management. Ian
was a group board member and shareholder of the Sherry FitzGerald Group.
In his role as CEO of the group’s franchise company (for seven years up
to March 2012), Ian worked with an external property fund management
company in 2006 and 2007 together successfully raising €54 million in
Ireland to invest in leveraged property funds in both the UK and Germany.
Since March 2012 Ian has worked as an independent property consultant to
private clients primarily in acquisition in the Dublin residential property market.
Ian has also worked with clients on property dispute resolution.
Ian is a strong, experienced property professional with high personal impact
known for leadership, management expertise and consistent delivery of
strategic plans to support an organisation and/or project to delivery on targets
and results.
